SITUATION: The St. Louis site had tremendous opportunity to strengthen it's quality culture, starting by focusing on why colleagues come to work each day, which is to produce medicines for patients in need.
TASK: Utilize project management and change management best practices to improve the St. Louis site's quality culture.
RESULT: Delivered an exceptional customer experience through five major global regulatory agency commercial inspections by increasing colleague system and process adoption where safety comes first, and quality is always. By showcasing the WHY, WHAT, and HOW for front-line colleagues, daily inspection readiness and quality culture was strengthened and the site continued to transform their ways of working to increase processes by adopting new tools.

SITUATION: The St. Louis Biologics manufacturing site was focused on growth and digital transformation with a need to create site governance and support change communications across strategic priorities, ensuring process and system adoption, change is embraced, and change sticks. By increasing governance, the site's goal was to:

Increase visibility to performance metrics and realize personal impact
Use consistent methods to monitor and report across initiatives

Increase cross-functional collaboration
TASK: Enable St. Louis site strategic and operational governance to enhance team productivity and performance.
RESULT:
1. PROCESS: Facilitated the on-going STRAP process to understand the site's strategic direction, vision, and better support the overarching Biologics business unit's goals and objectives. Partnered with Leadership to set strategic direction, collaborate with leaders to define strategic objectives, priorities, and long-term vision, and continuously engage with stakeholders through regular communications. Supported Leadership in our site's effort to enhance our Tiered Accountability process, and enable our people to find a better way everyday through visual, transparent accountability.
2. STRUCTURE: Established strategic initiative oversight process to review bowler metrics, KPI dashboards, and provide a consistent forum for leaders to discuss progress as a strategy steering committee. Partnered with Business Excellence Team to develop Smartsheet governance, outline consistent roles, responsibilities, and project procedures and templates, ensuring clarity and accountability in their governance functions.
3. COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION: Collaborated and supported stakeholders, sponsors, and project managers with simplified change plans that focused on preparing for changes, managing changes, and sustaining planned outcomes over time.
